What to Expect

Your Path to Freedom

How do you arrive at a solution?

Let’s say your wife cheated on you, you got fired, or some event happens that feels out of your control. You are thrust into the unknown. What do you do?

Numbing out is the most common strategy. The second most popular choice is distraction.
Numbing out includes drinking alcohol, doing drugs, or swiping. Distraction includes using people for entertainment, gaming, sport-fucking, or pouring ourselves into busy-work.

These strategies work in the short-term. But in the long-run they turn into addictions, depression, and chronic anxiety.

So what is the most common approach to treating depression and anxiety? Prescription drugs and talk therapy where you are diagnosed with a disorder.

Cool. Cool. Cool.

So, your human experience has now been encapsulated in a diagnosis and a prescription. Further, pop culture will give you an overview that you were traumatized by your childhood, probably dealing with a narcissist, or that you should love yourself and practice daily affirmations.

These are all band aids if not utilized appropriately

Not all coaching or therapy is equal. Our work together is supported by my two degrees in psychology and education in neuroscience, world religions, and being a small business owner as well as a published author.

“The advice I’d give to somebody that’s silently struggling is, you don’t have to live that way. You don’t have to struggle in silence. You can be un-silent. You can live well with a mental health condition, as long as you open up to somebody about it, because it’s really important you share your experience with people so that you can get the help that you need.” — Demi Lovato
